The company's proprietary adaptive Engine Control Unit (ECU) has been developed in-house, enabling real-time optimization of engine performance. DheyaTech's platform approach is designed to create a family of engines that can be easily adapted to various applications, reducing development time and costs.

  • Key features of DheyaTech's gas turbines include:
  • Fuel-flexible and hydrogen capabilities
  • Scalable family of engines addressing multiple thrust requirements
  • Proprietary adaptive Engine Control Unit (ECU)
  • Advanced turbomachinery capabilities for next-generation energy systems

The funding will be utilized to scale production capabilities, establish a fully integrated testing facility, and work closely with domestic and global customers to accelerate deployment timelines. DheyaTech's progress reflects a historic inflection point, marking India's entry into an elite peer group of nations with indigenous advanced propulsion technology.

"We believe that the next generation of Indian deep tech companies will not just adapt technologies developed elsewhere; they will build globally relevant platforms from the ground up," said Vikas Verma, Partner, Avaana Capital. "DheyaTech represents that shift – building differentiated, mission-critical technology in a sector of strategic importance to India."

DheyaTech's focus on building reliable gas turbine technology has earned it the distinction of being the first private company in India to pursue independent airworthiness certification for its gas turbine engines under the guidance of CEMILAC-DRDO. This certification pathway represents an important milestone towards meeting the rigorous reliability and performance requirements of India's avionics sector.

The company's collaboration with IISc-Bengaluru has also led to the development of a hydrogen blower that has received globally recognized ATEX safety certification. Additionally, DheyaTech has successfully developed a hydrogen-based flexi-fuel combustor for its 60-kW flexi-fuel turbogenerator, creating the enabling downstream infrastructure for fuel-flexible distributed power systems.

Gurushankara K C, CEO & Co-Founder, DheyaTech, emphasized, "We have spent the last decade building deep expertise in gas turbine technology with the vision of creating world-class propulsion and energy solutions from India. This funding marks an important step in our journey from technology development to production readiness."
